Celebrating Burdens’ 200th Palfinger Crane
Mark Rigby, Director of T H White Crane Division and Wolfgang Pitz, Chief Marketing Officer for Palfinger Cranes, recently sent out a very special invitation. The invited high-ranking representatives from Burdens Limited, based in Bristol, to the Palfinger plant in Lengau, Austria, to present them with a commemorative crane fresh from the factory floor. It was the 200th Palfinger crane that Burdens added to their fleet of vehicles. The model selected was a PK 15500 Performance.
Delivering specialist crane off load deliveries on time
Burdens are the leading independent UK supplier of civil engineering and building materials. Established in 1929, there are now 45 depots nationwide, as well as additional offices in Australia and Dubai. A total of over 1,000 employees and 180 trucks make Burdens one of the most important players in the market.
Burdens have been a Palfinger client since 1990 and has been fitting its trucks solely with Palfinger products for the past few years. The most important crane models for urdens are those in the 13 to 18 mt class. Most of these products are equipped with innovative technical elements, such as Integrated Stability Control (ISC) and easy-to-use radio remote control. All helping to improve service levels from Burdens depots to construction sites across the UK and Ireland.
