e-trading Seminar Success

Burdens held two e-trading seminars in the middle of November in order to give some of our customers an insight into the electronic trading options available. With so many conceptions surrounding IT within the construction industry we thought it would be beneficial to clearly outline the varied solutions that any sized company can adopt. No matter how large or small a business, transferring documents via email is classed as electronic trading and can save large amounts of time and money.

Tailored Solutions - to your requirements
Burdens have developed ad-hoc solutions that can be tailored specifically to the requirements of each individual customer; demonstrations of these went down particularly well with many customers keen to adopt them within their everyday business operations.

Software Solutions
Burdens’ strong relationships with third party vendors who specialise in software solutions for the construction industry were also discussed. Clearly outlining how their services can translate and transfer invoices to accommodate a company’s back office system was a real eye opener and
banished the myth of e-trading being complicated.

Cardiff Millenium Stadium Function RoomPrime Locations
The Millennium stadium was the location for the first seminar and the tour proved to be a winner especially with first time visitors, speechless at the magnifi cent sights that the home of rugby provides. Nigel Mansell’s Woodbury Park was the location for the other seminar. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Nigel’s golf course, customers also had a tour of the racing driver’s museum which held all of his F1 trophies.
