Burdens PVF - Alternative Manhole Platform Systems (AMPS)

AMPS is a new innovative chamber systems. The design allows for smaller diameter pre-cast chamber rings to provide safe access to underground pipe systems. A typical 1800mm pipe would normally require a 3600mm diameter pre-cast chamber ring, with the AMPS system this can be reduced to 2700m.

Designers are now experiencing major problems when it comes to positioning large diameter sewers and even larger diameter manholes into standard road widths; along with the fact that the majority of developments are designed using a separate drainage system.
